Testosterone Injection

If you’re new to the Anabolic world or a long time veteran, either way a testosterone injection is the primary form of Anabolic steroid administration. Even as the years have provided us new forms of Anabolic steroids it is testosterone we owe our allegiance to; in-fact it was a testosterone injection of testosterone-propionate that first led the way to Anabolic steroids being used by human beings. Although testosterone is a remarkable drug we must understand, there are risk we take when we administer a testosterone injection and as is with all Anabolic steroids, responsible use applies; a testosterone injection is no different.

Testosterone Injection Side-Effects:

The most common, in-fact it is absolutely assured is natural testosterone suppression. When we administer a testosterone injection our body’s own testosterone production comes to a halt. This is why the male testosterone user will experience testicular atrophy. The good news is once we discontinue our testosterone injection use our natural testosterone production will begin. However, it will not begin overnight and there is a protocol known as post cycle therapy (PCT) you are highly advised to follow.

Allergic reactions, although extremely rare are a side-effect you need to be aware of. After one testosterone injection an allergic reaction may occur. Allergic reactions can result in the following:

  • Rashes or Skin Irritation
  • Vomiting
  • Swelling of the Injected Area
  • Itching
  • Fever

One of the most common side-effects due to a testosterone injection relate to our cholesterol. With exogenous testosterone being introduced into the body we may indeed notice our cholesterol number going from standard and healthy to subpar almost overnight. More times than not proper diet can greatly aid in correcting this problem but why does the problem occur to begin with? With the advent of a testosterone injection the cholesterol in the blood becomes unbalanced thereby constricting the blood vessels in the body. With a sound diet rich in Omega Fatty Acids, coupled with regular exercise this problem can be averted almost 100% of the time. However, if you suffer from already inadequate levels of cholesterol you should avoid a testosterone injection until you are healthy enough for use.

Prostate issues can also arise from a testosterone injection schedule although rare it is again something you should be aware of. Continuous use of exogenous testosterone greatly increases the risk of an enlarged prostate; if you already suffer from prostate issues you are highly advised to avoid exogenous testosterone use. Using in spite of your existing prostate issues can not only make matters worse but you may indeed begin to notice extreme pain in the scrotal area.

The Common Side-Effects:

The following is a list of more common side-effects as it pertains to a testosterone injection. Although these side-effects are more common they are not guaranteed and can be avoided with proper use; this is why education on Anabolic steroid use is something you must take to heart. The list includes and is not limited to:

  • Bloating or Water Retention
  • Gynecomastia
  • Acne
  • Hair Loss

With the above four possible side-effects through proper use the first three can largely be avoided. Use of an aromatase inhibitor will greatly aid in preventing bloating and Gynecomastia while the simple use of human grade gear over underground gear coupled with proper hygiene will greatly eliminate the onset of acne due to testosterone use. Unfortunately hair loss is another story; testosterone use won’t make you go bald per say, it will however speed up the process, meaning you were going to go bald regardless; your testosterone injection has only sped up the process.
